Did you know that the Bulgarian city Plovdiv is the oldest city in Europe, dating back to 4000 BC, and the Antique Roman Theater there is among the best preserved ones in the world. The city is located in the heart of the Thracian Valley’s wine region, and the area is famous for the production of red wines and the popular local grapes - Mavrud.

Plovdiv is also among the top business destinations in Bulgaria. Last year, the city was in the Top 10 of Financial Times for most progressively developing places in the world. More than 100 international companies have factories in the region and many of them are expanding their investments. Unemployment in the city is 2.5%, and in addition to being an industrial center, Plovdiv is becoming a leading educational center with its 9 universities.

The team of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber is pleased to invite you to an event in Plovdiv on the topic „BUSINESS BEYOND THE DANUBE“. In it, local companies will have the opportunity to be informed about the potential of their products and services in the Romanian market, as well as the opportunities for cooperation with Romanian counterparties. On the other hand, you will be able to find up-to-date economic information and new developments in the legislation related to the business and to participate in the subsequent networking cocktail with members of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber and companies from the Plovdiv region. If you are interested, the Trakia Economic Zone team can make a presentation.

The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber team has been helping companies from both sides of the Danube to do business in the other country for 16 years. Among the networking participants will be representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Plovdiv and Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ). If the international guests and companies-members of BRCCI, which are not from the Plovdiv region, are interested, the TEZ team can present the opportunities for business.
