Promoting partnership governance in the area of local economic development and improving investment environment

The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Ruse Municipality aims to promote the improvement of the interaction between local authorities and business in the area of local economic development, to promote investment activities and to attract investors in the region.
The project plans to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing potential of Ruse Municipality in order to evaluate the available resources in view to the opportunity of attracting investments. The activities include conducting an inquiry among various categories of companies on local, national and international level to assess their investment attitudes. The project also includes a research on good practices and models what could be successfully implemented.
A key result of the project activities is to develop an Investment Support Concept to be used by the local authorities. The project will finish with a large-scale Investment Forum.
Project value: BGN 59 589.00 under Project № BG05SFOP001-2.025-0092-С01, of which BGN 50 650,65 from European funding and BGN 8 938,35 from national co-funding.
