The annual spring meeting of the international legal network Lexwork International was held in Sofia and hosted by Gugushev & Partners Law Office. The meeting took place over three days - 18, 19 and 20 May in Sofia, and included over 40 delegates from 20 different countries, spanning the continents of Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

During the second day, three guest speakers were invited, who held talks on various developments, which have the potential to affect the legal profession:

• Desislava Gospodinova, Founding Partner and CEO of Alfa Star Ventures, explained the long road that led to the creation of Bulgaria’s first Evergreen EuVECA fund manager.
• Vladimir Slavov, Open Source Officer at Bosch Digital, explored how legal work could be affected by the emergence and popularization of AI.
• Vyara Savova, Public Policy & Communication Expert at the European Crypto Initiative, chaired a talk on regulating the various new crypto spaces.

During the three-day event, several culinary experiences and a cultural tour of Sofia allowed visitors to immerse themselves in Bulgarian culture.
