The Romanian Tourism Fair – The biggest event dedicated to the tourism industry in Romania – ROMEXPO 13 – 16 March 2014

The Romanian Tourism Fair (), organized by ROMEXPO twice a year, gathers each year the elite specialized companies, from Romania and around the world.

The spring edition of TTR will take place in 2014, between 13th and 16th of March, in C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and C6 Pavilions.

Arrived at the 31st edition, the Romanian Tourism Fair is the perfect place to present the most interesting offers and touristic attractions, both from Romania and abroad, including all types of tourism: business, cultural, rural, spa & treatment, as well as exotic destinations, cruises, adventure trips or pilgrimages.

The 2013 Spring edition – facts and figures

Hosting a number of 275 companies, from 14 countries, the fair registered a new record regarding the visitors’ number: over 30,000 persons interested in traveling and holiday offers visited the fair that was held on 6 Pavilions, occupying a surface of 15,000 square meters.

For an extra impact, the participating companies presented, under the concepts “early booking” and “instant booking”, various attractive offers and discounts, available only during the event.

This year also, the organizers prepared, for all visitors of the fair an attractive program of side events, including: conferences, seminars, book launches, documentary presentations, photo exhibitions.

For the business-to-business segment, the fair represents an important platform for the renewal of existing relationships, for retaining the traditional partners and for establishing new contacts. In this context, The Romanian Tourism Fair aims to strengthen the local tourism industry, both by promoting the tourism attraction areas and services in our country, and by organizing seminars designed to raise awareness on the difficulties encountered in this field.

The 2013 Autumn edition – facts and figures

Organized during 14th and 17th of November 2013, the autumn edition of the Romanian Tourism Fair gathered over 200 companies from 11 countries, on an area of 10.500 square meters and was visited by 16.000 people, both specialist and general public.

During the two editions, the visitors could attend attractive side events, organized by the exhibiting companies, by Romexpo and its traditional partners: The Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Romania, The National Association of Tourism Agencies – ANAT, Romanian Tourism Employers’ Federation – FPTR, The National Association of Rural, Ecological and Cultural Tourism – ANTREC and The Organization of Spa Owners in Romania – OBTBR.
