On June 18 in Rousse, with the support of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, was held the first ever meeting-training “Sell successfully in Romania” aimed at the development of online trade in our North neigbour.
The event was organized by the Academy of e-commerce, which aims to unite and reconcile all people with an interest to develop their business online. Participants had the opportunity to discuss series of practical issues affecting logistics, marketing, consumer rights. The meeting was attended also by Ms. Elsa Florea of Vivre Deco: the company is a member of BRCCI,leading online provider of e-commerce in Romania, Bulgaria and several other countries, with over 4700 suppliers and 1.7 million registered users. She made a comparative analysis of the both markets and provide useful guidance and information for Bulgarian companies,which want to develop their online stores in Romania.
Bulgarian and Romanian electronic market is gaining momentum with each passing year, although it is still far from the average levels for Europe and too far back from the UK, where 87% of internet users shop online (18% for Romania and 31% for Bulgaria ). 6.9 million of romanian users are in Facebook, 22% of them are in Bucharest). In 2015, in Romania were made on-line sales of 1.4 bn. Euros.
