Project DANTE is chosen as EUSDR Strategic Project

The national coordinators of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) awarded nine projects with the statute “Strategic Project of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region”. Among them is project DANTE, which is being implemented by BRCCI in consortium with 20 partners from 10 countries, demonstrating the successful advancement, joint efforts and commitment of the Danube countries, as well as that of all other stakeholders, for the implementation of the Strategy through projects.

The process of choosing and ratifying the strategic projects of EUSDR is executed in compliance with the methodology and selection criteria, drafted in the conceptual documents of EUSDR’s strategic projects.

There were 31 projects considered throughout the whole process, which were initially identified from five priority areas of EUSDR, after which there was a decision for awarding the statute of “Strategic Project of the EUSDR” to projects from the following areas: PA1a (Waterways Mobility), PA3 (Culture and Tourism), PA6 (Biodiversity and Landscapes), PA9 (People and Skills) and PA10 (Institutional Capacity and Cooperation).
