Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Smart Cities & Waste Management Exhibition & Forum for South-East Europe will take place between 5-7 March 2014 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event is organized by Via Expo, a prtner of Bulgarian-RomanianChamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event will enhance the key role of the innovative technologies which could provide a long-term sustainable development of the Region as well as encourage the foreign investments in local economics through new projects, policies and practices. It will gather prominent local and international suppliers and buyers and also industry professionals from both private and public sectors.
The event format includes the following initiatives:
“Smart Cities” – intelligent buildings, energy storage, mobility & ICT
“LiftBalkans” – elevators
“Save the Planet” – waste management & recycling
Austria is again a supporting country due to its remarkable achievements which will be demonstrated at the traditional Austrian Pavilion.
Leading companies from Austria, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands will showcase their latest products and innovations.
This year the accent will be put on the energy-efficient products, hydro- and bioenergy and biomass. The demand for separating, baling, recycling and composting has been increased and many international companies will enter the regional market.
Taking into consideration the growing energy and resource consumption, the necessity of ICT application, participatory approach for energy production, distribution and use comes to the fore. Intelligent solutions for energy storage, building automation, mobility, telemetry and telematics will attract the visitor interest.
EREMA, IFE Aufbereitungstechnik, Untha Shredding Technology, Vecoplan, Herbold Meckesheim, Tecnova, Apricus Solar, Global Hydro Energy, CPM Europe and Leader Light are among the exhibitors.
New generation high-efficiency heat pumps will be presented by Omnia Contractors and Termopompeni Sistemi.
Hitachi Zosen Inova, Ebios Energy and Weiss will demonstrate their competence, broad know-how and international experience in the waste-to-energy industry.
The Conference Highlights – Early Bird Fees till 7th February
● EU Waste Management Day, in partnership with ACR+ & ENEP, will provide all participants with key information on market entry and draw in expertise from across the European Union. An accent will be also put on the Cohesion Policy 2014-2020 in SE Europe which will have a significant impact on the speed of waste management sector.
● Waste-to-Energy Workshop, in collaboration with WtERT Greece, will present Global and Local Perspectives for New Waste-to-Energy Projects & Waste-to-Energy for Sustainable Economic and Social Development.
● District Heating and Cooling in Europe, organized by Euroheat & Power. Speakers will acquaint attendees with ‘Heat Roadmap Europe’, the role of renewables in DHC, energy efficiency measures, etc.
● European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities, Renovation and nZEBs Strategies, Smart Grids and Mobility.
