Which are the countries with the largest share in Romanian companies?

Over 215 600 are the Romanian companies with foreign shares at the end of 2017. The biggest investments come from European countries, followed by Asian and African countries. Data from the Romanian Trade Register shows that the five main countries, whose citizens have shares in Romanian companies are:

– Italy (45 542 companies)

– Germany (22 105 companies)

– Turkey (15 097 companies)

– Hungary (13 494 companies)

– China (12 334 companies)

A comparison with 2016 shows, that the companies with foreign capital have increased with over 5800 in the period up to 31.12.2017.
