May 30th 2017 was an eventful day for Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The organization conducted three different events in the timeframe of only a few hours. This happened in the Danube Plaza hotel, Ruse.
The first event was BRCCI’s General Assembly, which began at 11:00 AM. A few important decisions were taken at the Assembly, concerning the Chamber’s budget, changes in the Control Council, membership of BRCCI in other organizations etc. Mr. Ivaylo Marinov – head of the Commercial and Economic Section of the Bulgarian Embassy in Bucharest and Mr. Radu Moldovan – trade counselor in the Romanian Embassy in Sofia, took part in the event, as well as many other individuals.
Two other events took place at 2 PM. One of them involved companies from the food and drink industries, which came to learn more about the possibility of selling their products in Romania – what steps need to be taken, as well as what are the obstacles of making it into the Romanian market. Representatives of Agromill Bulgaria JSC, Lactima JSC, Diavena LTD, as well as many other Bulgarian companies, took part in the meeting.
The last event was related to the potential selling of Bulgarian goods through the online platform vivre.eu. Representatives of the Romanian company Vivre Deco came, in order to explain to the Bulgarian producers the advantages and possibilities, which would be available to them if they decide to use the abovementioned online platform to sell their products. Among the participants in the discussion meeting were Aglika JSC, Denini LTD, Retrouyut Aksaga LTD and other manufacturers from Bulgaria.
These events solidified BRCCI’s leading role as an organization, which supports the development of the business environments in Bulgaria and Romania, as well as the creation of business contacts and the development of cooperation between companies from both countries.
